Massive Machinery, Swift Service: A 76,000 lb Caterpillar Dump Truck Transload Project

A great challenge and one of our favorite projects due to the sheer size and scope of the dump truck. The photos with our team standing in front of it provide a great perspective on just how massive it is!
— Chris Rawlins, Founder

Some cargo is so large and heavy that it requires on-terminal transloading to a flat rack for ocean shipment. This Caterpillar dump truck heading to Australia is a perfect example.

Measuring over 12 feet wide, 13 feet tall, and weighing 76,000 lbs, this unit required expert handling. Our team received the dump truck on port, transloaded and secured it to a waiting flat rack, and had it delivered to its stack on the terminal, completing the entire process in about three hours.
